Platige Image is an award winning animation studio for creative endeavors specializing in designing CG imagery, 3D animation, and digital special effects. At Platige, we combine film and advertising work with a strong passion for art, education, and entertainment.
Role:
Platige Image Cinematics Team is seeking Lighting TD’s who are experienced with C++ and talented with shot lighting and rendering. Successful applicants will have a good working knowledge of hi-end renderers as well as a solid technical background including Python tools and script development and shader writing skills. You will be involved in creation of AAA game cinematics and other hi-end 3D projects at our Warsaw, Poland studio.

Responsibilities:
– Responsible for improving the efficiency of the whole rendering pipeline.
– Support artists with setup, lighting and rendering shots using Maya, Arnold and in-house software.
– Design and manage tools that assist the Lighting Artists to work efficiently with Maya and Arnold.
– Support the Lighting Artists in finding technical problems with assets, caches, light rigs and overall data flow.
– Collaborate with TD’s from other departments to improve quality and workflow.

Required:
– A minimum of 3 years’ production proven experience focused on technical side lighting, shading and/or look development.
– Working knowledge Maya and Arnold.
– Extended scripting knowledge in Maya.
– Ability to adapt to a high pressure, fast-paced, dynamic environment.
– Self-motivation and a great team-player.

Plus:
– Production knowledge of other render engines including one of: Vray, Mantra and/or PRMan.
– Previous experience as Maya technical director in any role.
– Some working experience of shader writing.
– Experience with C++ and/or Python in plug-in development.
– Experience in Houdini.

Platige Image is seeking experienced layout TD who are experienced with creating tools for previz and who have experience with Maya Previs work. Candidates need varied skill level across the areas of rigging, scripting and software development. We are currently seeking technical artist for upcoming game cinematics projects at our Warsaw, Poland studio.

Required:
– A minimum of 3 years’ experience desired in a relevant field or 3 years’ experience as in-game cinematic artist.

– Basic working knowledge of the more technical areas of CGI (Rigging/FX etc.).

Role:
Platige Image is seeking experienced layout artist who is talented with cameras and who have experience with Maya Previs work. You are responsible for the staging, blocking, and camera work that makes up the foundation of a successful shot and sequence of shots throughout a film; create the previzualization sequences and shots for the movie according to the director’s guidelines, whilst reporting to the lead layout artist. Create a rough layout, including character animation blocking and camera movement, as well as creating or editing existing storyboard. When needed, provide feedback to the junior layout/previs team members to ensure their work is in line with the director’s vision.

Candidates need varied skill level across the areas of rigging, scripting and software development. We are currently seeking senior technical artist for upcoming game cinematics projects at our Warsaw, Poland studio.

Required:
– A minimum of 5 years’ experience in rigging in game development environment, commercials, VFX or equal.

– Experience in mentoring and support other TD’s and Character Animators.
– Good problem-solving abilities.
