In less than a month "The Kinematograph", a short animated film by Tomek Bagiński and the Platige Image studio team will come out in the cinemas. After the pompous "The Cathedral" and the mocking "Fallen Art", now it's a turn for a nostalgic story - an enthralling drama of the main character. Sadness together with a peculiar warmth are for the director the power and the beauty of this story.

You can watch the teaser promoting this production on the website www.thekinematograph.com. You will also find information about the screenings of "The Kinematograph" in Multikino and Silver Screen cinemas in Poland. The official premiere on 17 June at 8 pm in Złote Tarasy Multikino in Warsaw.

In June the film will be entered in the short film category at The 66th Venice International Film Festival. Platige Image, the film's producer and distributor, hopes that the film will have its world premiere there.

On 17 June 2009 in Złote Tarasy Multikino there will be a premiere screening of Tomek Bagiński's latest film, "The Kinematograph".
The script of this twelve-minute film is an adaptation of a short story by Mateusz Skutnik entitled "Rewolucje: Monochrom". Over 50 people were involved in making of this film.
The Warsaw premiere is the first one in the series of screenings organized in co-operation with Multikino and Silver Screen cinemas. The screenings and exceptional meetings with the creators will take place in the biggest cities of Poland.

About a week ago Platige Image presented artistic concepts from "The Kinematograph". Today we can watch first frames from this film.

The latest film by Tomek Bagiński is a twelve-minute animation telling a story of a forgotten inventor. Will his invention turn out to be a success? You will find out soon. After just a yearly production process the film is almost finished. The premiere will take place in June.
