2009.11.06 Jakub Jabłoński author of illustrations to Jacek Dukaj's "Wroniec"
"Wroniec" is a fairy-tale fantasy with the Martial Law motifs, written in a simple style of a children's story. The book's author is a well-known Polish fantasy writer, Jacek Dukaj, who is also the author of a short story "The Cathedral", based on which Tomek Bagiński created his Oscar-nominated film.
The illustrations and the cover to "Wroniec" have been made by Jakub Jabłoński, the co-author of a short film, "Teaching Infinity", the author of a visual concept to the latest production of Tomasz Bagiński, "The Kinematograph", and the artistic director of a full-length production by Platige Image and The Warsaw Rising Museum, "HARDKOR44".

2009.11.06 The Kinematograph is the winner of this year's Animago festival
The latest short film by Tomek Bagiński entitled "The Kinematograph" won the main prize at a prestigious international animation festival, Animago 2009.
"The Kinematograph" is an adaptation of a comic book with the same title created using a pen and a crayon by Mateusz Skutnik and published in a collection "Rewolucje: Monochrom".
The main character called Francis is an inventor. His invention is about to change the world. But he forgot about one thing: dreams always cost too much. Focused on himself and his work, he realizes how serious the situation is when it is too late.
This is not the first award given to our studio at Animago. In previous editions two earlier films by Bagiński, "The Cathedral" and "Fallen Art", received the same award. "Moloch" directed by Marcin Pazera and "Undo" by Marcin Wa¶ko were also rewarded at the festival.
