A social and educational action called "December 13th" organized by National Centre of Culture and IInstitute of National Remembrance is meant to familiarize young Poles with the dramatic events of the Martial Law.

On this occasion Wydawnictwo Literackie published a book entitled "Wroniec" written by the most outstanding Polish author, Jacek Dukaj. Dukaj is particularly appreciated by young readers. The book has already had some enthusiastic reviews and it seems it is going to be an important literary phenomenon.

Both the concept and the language of the book together with the illustrations are coducive to organizing an attractive large-scale educational initiative about the events of December 1981 aimed at teenagers.

The illustrations and the cover of ”Wroniec” were made by Jakub Jabłoński, a co-author of a short animated film, "Teaching Infinity". He is also the author of the visual concept tfor the latest production by Tomek Bagiński, "The Kinematograph" and the artistic manager of the full-length Platige Image and The Warsaw Rising Museum production, "HARDKOR44".
